How did I forget to tell you…

you are my soul’s desire,

I adore the magic in your eyes,

and your smile makes my heart melt?

 

When you lose the one you love,

you begin to recall everything you never said

and everything you should’ve said

to make her heart melt.

 

You showed me what a love could do;

I couldn’t find the words for you,

now it’s just me, my pen, and my pad

and letters that are heartfelt.

 

How did I forget to notice…

the new earrings in your ears,

the highlights in your hair,

and all the little things that your heart felt?

 

When did I stop making you feel important?

When did I stop treating you as I did when we were courting?

When did you begin to feel as if you didn’t make my heart melt?

 

I want to make everything alright…

I just want to say Te Amo and love you for life.

I want to tell you Everything I Never Told You…

I want to tell you Everything I Should’ve Told You.

I want you to know how I adore your natural essence…

I want you to hear my heart speaks in your presence.

I want to caress your soul,

when I look into the depths of your soul;

oh what a beautiful soul.

I get lost in a sea of words,

searching for the words to tell you Everything I Never Told You.
