I love cityscapes…
the sight of skyscrapers inspires me to scale new heights.
Architecture is astonishing;
it reminds me
to take a moment to think
about all the things that we look at every day
but truly never see.
Cityscapes are a sight unseen –
we’ve become so accustomed to seeing them,
that we overlook the fact that there was a time when they remained to be seen.
Nothing signifies possibility
like the beacon of city lights
and buildings with storied heights.
Next time you see a skyscraper,
reach for the sky…
put your fears aside…
and scale new heights.
