actions speak louder than words, definiteness of purpose, strength, training tenaciously, weakness

Yooooo! Remember when you were giving it to someone on Street Fighter or when you played sports and you exposed your opponents weakness and all you heard was “Stop Cheesing!” I’ve never been a trash talker, I’d rather lay in the cut and let my actions thoroughly speak for me. I always find it amazingly amusing, when the biggest trash talkers start talking that “You only have that one skill; without that one ________ you would not have won.” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

#codeofthestreets: When you develop the discipline of training tenaciously to master your craft, you will stop competing with others and you’ll solely seek to defeat your last feat; you’ll exploit your own deficiencies, to become better equipped. When you focus on becoming your own competition, you’ll push yourself to do better; when you say “Yo, I got next,” the unprepared will start saying “The game’s locked!” πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Strong Enough or Weak Enough

faith vs fate, mindfulness, stillness, strength, weakness

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been strong enough or weak enough to surrender…
but I’ve totally surrendered to God’s will for the first time in my life.

I have seen the unseen
and I have made the impossibles possible…
I have learned to adjust and adapt,
I understand that I must persistently pursue my plans
yet prepare for the unknowns in life.

I’m a risk taker…
However,
I’ve developed the discipline of taking calculated risk;
I’ve learned early in life:
“You can’t become skilled at gambling,
there are no skills to be acquired in games of chance.
There’s only two things to consider before you engage in a game of chance: 1. Know the odds
and 2. Never gamble with more than you’re willing to lose.”

I have never left the results of my life to chance,
I have developed the discipline of weighing the odds in every aspect of life;
when you possess passion and purpose,
you live with a sense of urgency…
every day is life or death in my life.

I have always wagered accountable actions to get what I desired in life,
I have taken calculated risk
and I tenaciously train to control the outcomes in my life.

I have adopted an expect nothing
and prepare for everything attitude.
I have learned to understand how the water cuts a rock.

I have studied the ant,
I have become mindful of the little things.
I have learned to understand why the eagles don’t flock.

I have never let chance control my fate…
I’ve never employed futile efforts of faith;
aint no half stepping,
when it comes to my beliefs.
I practice my principles to foster love, peace, and happiness.
I have learned to utilize my mind, body, and spirit to achieve favorable outcomes.

I have never put my faith at stake…
I have come to count on my moral compass to point me in the right direction;
my character will never lie in a chip on the craps table.
I will never pretend to be passionate,
my integrity is evident;
if the truth hurts,
my presence may represent a weapon.
I have learned “All the faith in the world is useless without the actualization of attainable actions;
I’m relentless on the road to rewarding results,
I am a go-getter – I do not wish for successful outcomes.”

I have come to understand,
surrendering is not giving in;
it’s more like being still long enough to unlock the power within.

I have come to understand,
surrendering is not giving in;
it’s more like being mindful of the doors that are being locked before you,
yet being still enough to remember you possess the keys of the world within.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been strong enough or weak enough…
All I know is
“I am learning to let be.”

I’m not sure if I’ve ever been strong enough or weak enough…
What I know for sure is
“I’m learning,
everything is everything,
and everything will be.”

I’m not sure if I’m strong enough or weak enough…
Either way;
I WILL BE.
